My Story

I bring a unique perspective to every case — because I’ve stood in almost every role the justice system has to offer.
My journey began straight out of high school when I joined the United States Marine Corps. I was honored to be selected for a specialized security assignment protecting dignitaries at Camp David. After my military service, I returned home and continued to serve the public as a police officer. While working full-time in law enforcement, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude.
Driven by a passion for justice, I worked for a federal judge at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, gaining invaluable insight into the inner workings of federal law. During this time, I attended South Texas College of Law at night, earning my law degree while working by day. I was named to the Dean’s List and awarded the prestigious Ryan Eaun Memorial Scholarship, honoring excellence in legal education.
After passing the Texas bar, I served as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, trying dozens of cases as lead counsel. Today, as a dedicated criminal defense lawyer near you, I defend clients facing everything from misdemeanor charges to serious felonies — including assault, evading arrest, possession of controlled substances, and even capital murder — in both state and federal courtrooms.
